The 4th Annual Reliving Old Hollywood Charity Gala offers a wide range of sponsorship opportunities, from $100 auction item donations up to the $20,000 exclusive Platinum Event Sponsorship. Benefits vary by sponsorship level and include:

Who Attends
Gala advertising reaches hundreds of thousands of people in the Ottawa area and the event itself plays host to 200 of Ottawa's most generous people. The majority of attendees are 35-55 year old professionals from business, government, healthcare and media. Past gala auctions and draws have proven that this affluent audience purchases items such as luxury travel, fine artwork, and fine dining and entertainment.
Media Exposure
Thanks to the generous support of our media sponsors, the 2012 Gala will enjoy unprecedented local advertising exposure. A donated media spend worth over $90,000 will reach hundreds of thousands of Ottawa area residents during the 6 months leading up to the gala night.
Why the Gala
An important research discovery in 2011 has moved researchers one step closer to developing an effective screening tool that could triple the survival rate of patients with ovarian cancer. Over 2600 Canadian teenaged girls and women of all ages are diagnosed every year. While only about 30% currently survive, when the disease is detected and treated early, that survival rate skyrockets three-fold to 90%!
With your help, fundraising efforts to support the education of women and research into early detection and treatment can have a dramatic impact, saving the lives of thousands of girls and women in Canada each year!
Who We Are
The Reliving Old Hollywood Charity Gala began over 4 years ago by Nancy O'Brien after a personal scare with an ovarian tumour. She experienced first-hand how underfunded ovarian cancer research was and saw the opportunity to make a difference. The gala remains a completely volunteer effort, supported by the personal effort of many dedicated people and the donations of generous sponsors.
Where the Funds Go
Since Ovarian Cancer Canada (OCC) is the only national charity dedicated to overcoming ovarian cancer, where better to direct the funds! Through OCC, 100% of the proceeds from the event are dedicated to advancing research conducted in major research centres across Canada, including the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute. Your money will go directly to fund important research projects occurring all over the country which move us closer to a reliable and effective screening tool for ovarian cancer. NOTE: The PAP test DOES NOT detect ovarian cancer.
